I haven't done an HP rp in ages. xD I tend to prefer Marauder-era RPs to ones set in/after Harry's time, but it always seems so hard to find one and keep it going.

And no rush on the RP here. I know it takes time sometimes. ^^

Yeah. That's why I make due with the normal HP rps. However, this rp is set after Harry and his companions.

I looked into one post series HP rp once. I really liked the plot, but it was one of those where the creator made all of the characters (names, appearances, personalities, histories, which other characters they did/didn't get along with, etc.) and you just got to pick which one you wanted (I think you had to apply for them), but that just doesn't appeal to me. It always makes me think 'If you're going to plot everything out like that, just write a fanfic'. I mean, to me, all the fun in rping is seeing what different people can bring to it, and letting the creativity flow.

And also, to keep the conversation relevant to the topic, this morning I woke up with "Just Might Have Her Radio On" by....Steve Azar, I think.

Also semi-related, last night Chaos, Washi, and Washi's sister came over (for a birthday dinner/hangout thing) and we came across something on Facebook that was like "Take the name of whatever song you're listening to, and add 'with my penis' to it." We came up with some pretty funny ones, just naming songs. xD Yeah, we're really mature, ya know? xD

Oh. I don't like those kinds of rps. :C And I agree. The fun is seeing the creativity of others, not just of one person.

Like I said, we're super mature. xD Nah, seriously though, that just sort of amused me, so I figured I'd share. Once you start thinking about adding it to songs, it's almost hard to stop. xD We tend to get a bit goofy/weird when the four of us get together, so don't mind me.

And again, to keep it on topic, I've got "If You're Reading This" by Tim McGraw stuck in my head. I have no clue why I keep waking up with random country songs stuck in my head lately...

I've had John Barrowman's songs "What About Us" and "I Made It Through The Rain" stuck in my head all morning. I'm pretty sure Washi's the only other one here who knows who he is, but he's wonderful. I suggest looking him up. ^^

Though now I've sort of got the Doctor Who theme song running circles in my brain, which is sort of annoying since it doesn't have any words. xD

Because it's in my brain and won't go away...I've got "Sleepless Beauty" by Nittle Grasper (I forgot the real artist) stuck in my head. It's from the anime Gravitation...which is my current old-school obsession. xD

Specifically, I've got Ryuichi's solo from that song stuck in my head. It's this scene, in case you're not familiar.

Also, if you've never seen Gravitation, I storngly recommend it. It's shonen-ai with lots of humor and drama and absolutely amazing music. ^^ It is the only anime I've seen in it's entirety in the Japanese (I watched it before my eyes got too bad to read the subtitles) and I've lost count of the number of times I've watched it. I think it's absolutely amazing, and it's only 13 episodes (15 if you count the OVA) so it's super short too.

I have seen it. I think it was what got me into the BL genre. xD I love that song, as well. x3 And I also have an old school obsession right now. Card Captor Sakura. xD

Yeah, Gravitation got me into the BL genre as well. ^^ I watched it my senior year in high school (2003-04) when Chaos brought me a copy of the fansubs on VHS back home with her from college. xD And then I got all excited when I heard they were dubbing it. My mom bought me the series + OVA on DVD for my birthday (because she thought "The pink haird girl was adorable", and I was too big of a wimp to ever tell her Shuichi was a guy. xD) I thought the dub was terrible though (but at least they left the music in Japanese. I'd cry if they'd messed it up), and haven't watched it in years since I got to where I couldn't read subs anymore. Nut yeah, yesterday and the day before I finally tried to rewatch the dub. I'd still personally cast just about everyone differently, but I think it's grown on me just a little. It seems that I 'got' more of it this time around (either because I'm older or because it was in English, I don't know). I think my biggest problem with the dub, though, is the fact that they changed "Kumagorou" to "Mr. Bear". >.<

As for CCS, I'm aware of it. I know the basic plot and some of the character's names, and I think I've even seen one of the movies (don't remember which one though) but I never really got to watch a lot of it. I was a little late to the old-school anime game, so I missed when most of them were being aired on TV and stuff. Same with Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing (though with those two, I have friends obsessed with them so I've absorbed a lot of knowledge about them through listening to rambling xD).

That was an awesome song/video though. ^^

I think I saw Gravitation around that time, as well. xD

And I do recommend CCS. It's a good series and it has quite a bit of BL that isn't at all subtle but that's what you can expect from CLAMP. xDD I started rewatching it yesterday after sending you that video. xD And a guy friend of mine is watching it with me. He guesses a ton of things right, though, so I have to try to not confirm or deny them. xD However, one thing he guessed right doesn't happen for like 50 episodes and we're only on episode 5. xDD

And yeah. It's a good song. :3

Yeah, I love CLAMP for that. Again, I didn't get to see a lot of their stuff, but I read some of the shorter manga. I loved Miyuki-chan in Wonderland (yeah, it's not BL, but still). I want to see more CCS, I just haven't had the chance to watch it.

The fact that your friend guesses stuff right reminds me of the first time I watched The Princess Bride with my cousin. She asked me who I thought The Dread Pirate Roberts really was, and I guessed right, and she got mad at me, and didn't want to finish watching the movie with me. I also guessed the ending to the movie Dead Again when I watched it with my creative writing class in high school. I watched the first half (during one class period) and went up to the teacher after class, and was like "This is what I think happened." She refused to tell me, but I was right on just about all of it, and the next day, after we finished the movie, she asked me how I'd figured it out. xD

Yeah. xD CLAMP is great. xD I do understand not yet having the chance to watch it. :3

And yeah. xDD Stuff like that. You or your friends try their best not to confirm or deny it and you just know you're right. xDD

I think I told you I was showing Washi's little sister FY, and she kept talking about how Nuriko was such a pretty girl, but a total b***h to Miaka. I wanted to tell her Nuriko was a guy. I really, really did. And then I met Nuriko's English VA and told her about it, and how I wanted to tell her, and she was like "Don't you dare! You can't ruin that big reveal for her! She has to find out with everyone else."

And she hasn't watched any more FY since then, so I need to have an anime night just so she can re-watch the first few eps and find out about Nuriko. xD

That's great. xDDD I loved Nuriko so much. ;w;

And yes. xD I have FY downloaded. x333 I do want a Byakko series, though. Mostly for Tatara. ;w; His story was adorable! And sad. I really liked him in the series. xD He was such a great Seishi. ;3;
