Frost dragon: In her dragon form, Eisuko is more capable to protect herself than she would if she were in her human form. She had many skills that most common folk would be unable to confront. That said, she never uses these skills to attack or kill relentlessly. She does appreciate peace and a non-violent existence but is also aware of the need to protect herself and she has tried to do as much ever since she was sold to the lord of the castle. One of her many powers consists on “Frost breath," when activated it sends a frost shout to nearby opponents causing minor damage and also slowing down their movements for a considerable prod of time depending on the intensity of the breath. Another ability consists on “Snow storm," if near a body of water she can flow and manipulate the water in order to create a snowstorm. It does not last too long but it also does not take up much energy since she mainly manipulates water. The most powerful weapon, though, is her ability to freeze her opponents or nearby buildings or creatures or vegetation even. There are two skills within this power, she can either use her freezing skills to protect someone or something hence surrounding that person or creature in a shield of ice and that might also fool the enemy into thinking the person or creature was frozen to death. But she can also use it to attack her enemies and depending on the level of coldness kill them. She does not use this skill to kill often though and it also drains a lot of energy from her. Her claws, wings and tail as well as fangs also allow this elegant lung frost dragon to defend herself should the need arise. Also being able to fly enables another weapon in her favour to avoid long-range weapons and spells. Although, of course, sometimes she does not manage to escape the threat fast enough.
Seduction: As a Geisha, Etsuko learned all the skills that could make a man weak to the knees but this does not only involve sexual manipulation, it is mainly entered in what a Geisha truly is, she is an artist, she can play and sin to entertain, knows perfectly well what type of kimono to wear, when to be witty and when to lightly tease or flirt and she is truly mysterious. One of the traces that seemed to please the lord the most was her innate ability to be feminine and conduct herself like a confident lady with grace and elegance. Many blame that on her foreign origins but still, her mystery in itself is the key to being respected more than most Geisha who entertained the lord. In fact she was so cunning and intelligent she had managed to avoid her lord’s lustful attempts. However, how long will this last? How long can she keep her guard up and win against the power and influence of this lord? She only hopes her skills never rust or fade, these are weapons she trusts in and the only ones to protect her. In a way she knows that despite being like a loving sister to most of the Geisha in the castle or the nearby Redlight District, some do not see her with kind eyes, jealousy is a dangerous emotion.
Personality:
Etsuko is a rather complex and unreadable person. Being used to behave like a Geisha she only shows the pertinent emotions at the moment but is also a way for her to shield herself from others, from her troubles and she mastered the skill in such a way that she does not need to wear too much make up to become the most attractive Geisha in the Redlight District or the castle itself. She also performs her duties so well as if to shield the fact that she was also a frost lung. She knew her life would be threatened or she would be forced to do terrible things if anyone ever found out. So she lives every day as if it were the most important day of her life, she works hard to be good at everything she does and strives to be a good friend to her fellow Geisha but she never crosses the line of intimacy with anyone, partly if it because she does not trust others to keep her secret safe and secondly because she is aGeisha and if she were to give herself to a lover then she feared she would never be able to love that person since they were not allowed to leave the Redlight District and this prepotent Lord would never forgive her. That did not mean she did not at times wish there was someone out there for her, Geisha were completely selfless, always tending to the needs of their customers, especially does of the Lord of the castle, and so she never had a moment to talk about her weariness or even be the one who enjoys entertainment or passion. But she knew that people only saw Geisha for what they were, in fact few ever considered the possibility of marrying a customer and those selected by the Lord were off-limits. In fact Etsuko barely ever spent time with anyone who was not that spiteful man.
She is a rather calm person, even in dangerous circumstances she always kept a cool head and analysed every possible solution. It was one of the reasons she was a good Geisha and why at times the Lord would confide in her whenever he had to make an important decision. It could be said that his hunger was held back for his lovely Geisha simply for all the secrets she knew and how in many ways he needed her help to keep his title of daimyo intact in front of his many retainers. This also put a lot of pressure on her young shoulders. Although she looks much younger than she really is, since she is twenty, the duties the daimyo forces on her shoulders make her feel too tired. At times he even inquires after death penalties or the capture of Geisha who tried to escape his clutches. She is lucky, she would never argue that. Most Geisha suffered greatly when in his company, but that did not mean she did not suffer threats of her own… In many ways she felt unlucky, if by any chance she was ever taken hostage or harmed in a way, he would never save her thinking she best perish than live long enough to reveal his secrets and if she dared save her she doubted he would believe she never revealed his secrets to his foe.
Although she follows the book to perfection and is admired and envied wherever she goes, in contrast with her frost lung nature she is rather warm and full of passion. She is a rather lively person and this can be easily seen by the way she dances, sings or plays her instruments, how passionate she gets when speaking of intellectual topics with the daimyo or his retainers and the joy she transmits others. Some are even surprised that someone who suffered so much could be so cheerful and even more so, the true loneliness she feels is nowhere to be seen in public. But that is one of the reasons she goes for long flights at night, to search for that missing part of her heart, although not literally she does feel like there is something missing in her life. Having never experienced love of any kind, she is oblivious to a life different to the one she now leads. Despite this she is kind and generous, although, she likes to keep to herself if someone needs help and it is in her hand to aid them, she gladly will.

In her human form, Etsuko is a lovely slender girl. She stands at 5’8 which is rather average from the island she came from and her skin is tanned due to the climate of her homelands. However, her hair is of a silvery-white tone that reminds others of snow and winter and yet it contrast nicely with her natural skin. If loose her hair reaches beyond her waist, almost to the back of her knees. Mainly she fixes her hair the way of the Geisha and she constantly experiments with new styles and decorations. She does not waste too much money on hairpins or anything else that most Geisha wear to stand out, but at times she makes her own decorations or finds some that look natural, just as she was, a natural beauty. Fragile, yet strong, her eyes are the most striking feature she has, they are of a deep amber colour with hints of brown and red, they are windows to her soul and show her past and suffering but also her strength. Not just anyone would be able to cope with such a life as she did. She usually wore lovely kimonos that gave room to mystery rather than exposing any part of her, it his her well and at the same time was much more alluring than if she revealed anything. Her kimonos are simply but at the same time beautiful, she loves nature especially the wintery months so the colours she uses are mainly influenced by such times of the year, silver, white, purple and red.

She is not one of the tallest lung dragons, however she is tall enough to be ride and to intimidate most persons or creatures even minor deities if she came across them. Her voice in her dragon form is soft and soothing like the whispers of the rustling wind. She does not speak like mortals though, she communicates through telepathy. But she can only use this ability to a certain distance, if in different countries it is much difficult to use such means of communication. She is the colour of white snow mixed with a hint of aquamarine on the chest and claws, her eyes are still the same reddish with a hint of brown and amber. One of her loveliest features. Her claws and fangs are sharp but she does not look intimidating unless enraged. She has a lovely slender body like the traditional Japanese ryu and her wings could easily cover up most of herself if she wished to find shelter for herself or anyone she needed to look after. Her tail is long and elegant and the tip is covered in feathers of different shades of white and aquamarine. She is truly a sight to see.

Born in Nyosei Island, Etsuko was named child of everlasting delight. Nonetheless her parents were in love and were not allowed to be together. So for a few years until Etsuko was five years of age, she lived with her mother in the island and they never spoke of her father but she could tell even at that young age that her mother was lonely and planning to run away with him. In a way that shaped her current personality since she had to cheer her mother constantly and be the mature person in the house always keeping her head cool about things and never thinking about herself. However, her mother never returned any affection and was only distant and cold with her daughter. In many ways Etsuko felt more like a burden than a daughter and wonder if her mother blamed her for her inability to be with the man she loved. During that short time she learned as much as she could from the locals and their customs, being an island governed by women she learned to be self-sufficient and independent form her childhood, something that surprised her mother. Once she reached hive springs she had to say goodbye to the Island and she accompanied her mother as they ran away into the land of Hokkan. She was meant to meet with her beloved there and get married in secret. They resided in that cold land for around a year. Despite that, being capable of taking any situation calmly, Etsuko soon got used to the weather and enjoyed running aound in the mountains close to where she lived. At one time she had prayed to the main gods to protect her mother and father even if she had to suffer to repay such favour. This moved one of the Four Gods: Seiryuu.
One morning, as she was running errands and picking logs for a fire she heard a younger girl scream and she ran to her aid. She was shocked to see she was being attacked by a wild bear. It was not an adult but it was already ferocious. She told the girl to run as she distracted the beast, she would not hurt it but wanted to let the girl escape, then she would run away and climb a tall tree. She loved doing that anyway. The young girl nodded and ran away as quickly as possible before smiling at Etsuko. As she then tried to distract the bear, she was glad she granted the girl enough time to escape. Unfortunately, as she avoided a claw attack she slipped and fell down a high cliff. She thought about their parents and smiled, at least they were happy now even though they seemed to ignore she was even there… She thanked Seiryuu of making her dreams come true but as she fell she heard a voice call to her, he asked her what she would do if she could chase the clouds and fly higher than any bird. She smiled and slowly extended her hand toward the sky, she would love to fly… She would love to be free from such emptiness she felt inside if she could for an instant. The Dragon God warned her though that this was to be kept a secret and she had to avoid being seen if she could. She then felt as if one of his fingers touched hers and she felt snow cover her completely.
After a long moment she finally woke up and realised she did not even feel cold anymore. She shook her head but as she did so she realised she had scales and feathers instead of her usual skin. She was a small young frost lung, she could not believe it, she looked at her tail and wiggled it in excitement. It took her a long time but with practice she learned to fly. She was not sure what moved the God to grant her such a wish and save her life but she knew she would spend her life here in his honour and do her best to make him proud of his choice. She also learned the way to change back to her human form and she returned to her home. To her surprise her parents were not the least worried and rather annoyed to have her back. One morning, when she reached seven years of age, they decided to go out and did not tel her where they were taking her. They had taken the trouble to have her take a bath and put on a lovely dress and a nice hair clip. she had a bad feeling about it and finally they reached a land in the boundaries of Hokkan, it was a lovely city and they presented her to the daimyo of the land, if the man offered their freedom and a good sum of money to live a comfortable live in these lands, they would gladly give him their daughter.
The man did not hesitate to accept since the girl would become a beautiful woman. He knew that just by looking at her, and knowing his soon would be the daimyo by then he decided she would be trained in order to become the best Geisha and then she would be for his son. He grinned maliciously and granted them what they demanded and that was when for the time being she started living in the Redlight District. Since she was a little girl when she joined she would not be working officially but the daimyo payed for her education and basic needs so the girl was not mistreated by other Geisha nor was she feeling like a burden. Truth be told the moment her parents sold her she felt shocked, as if she had been stabbed in the heart though she had never expected them to love her. But she handled this the best way possible, she kept a cool head about it and only hoped her parents were happy wherever they went.
From the moment she stepped into the Redight District she worked harder than anyone else to learn a lot about the arts, literature, politics, cult and customs. She also helped keep the place tidy and clean and even mastered some cooking recipes. At the beginning the main Geisha had hesitated to give her the job since she was so young, but in a way it was a jovial and fresh breeze to have her among them and she did not regret taking her in. Once she reached fifteen springs, the new daimyo demanded she was moved into the castle with the other Geisha of his choice with the possibility of still being hired in the Redight District. That was when she began to actually work as a Geisha. By then she created such an impact on the lord and his father that she was assigned his main Geisha and if any other customer wished to see her it had to be upon the daimyo’s approval. Etsuko felt even more trapped than before even though she did not complain, if she did, what would she do? The man was fickle but he was also dangerous and she did not want to be treated like other women were.
