Hello all! I know I mentioned it in the CBox a few days ago, but I felt like I needed to better explain what went on, and where I was for the last month or so.
Basically, I was sitting at home, bored out of my skull and missing my peeps on here. Lame ass explanation, but that sums it up, more or less. Now, the basics aside, here's what happened:
So, about a month ago, I decided to plug up my external hard drive (given to me for Christmas...or was it my birthday? anyway, Washi-chan gave it to me.) and couldn't make it fit into the usb port of my shiny new desktop. So I did what any technological retard would naturally do, and made it fit. It broke the cord to my hard drive, but Luna fixed it, so I figured all was well. So that night, I shut off my comp, as usual. The next morning, I tried to turn my comp back on, and it just sat there. I freaked, and tried to get my favorite comp tech to fix it. Unfortunately, Luna had no idea what to do to make it better. So I took it up to Best Buy (because I literally just bought it there on March 3rd.) and figured their Geek Squad could fix it, but they were dumbfounded too.
So they sent it off to be fixed, and I literally just got it back on the 3rd. Apparently a messed up usb port has the power to screw up the entire system. Luna hooked it back up for me, and I was planning on doing more on here sooner, but the 5th was my dad's birthday, and since it's just me and him, I was busy all day trying to make sure his birthday was as awesome as he is. And then after that, on Friday, I spent most of the day cleaning up from the day before, and Saturday, I was helping Luna look for a car, and taking part in her family's early Mother's day celebration.
And so that's it. All really lame ass excuses, but that's the truth. And as a sort of warning, my internet connection still sucks and dies for hours on end without warning, so I may still be slow to post because of that.
Again, I'm really sorry for all of that, and promise to do my best to bring this amazing site back from the ashes like the awesome phoenix it is. Or something.
