Mt. Taikyoku is the mountain-top home of Taiitsukun and the Nyan Nyans. It is a 'neutral zone' of sorts, and can only be seen by those pure of heart. Anyone with an impure heart will see only rocky cliffs. In the Fushigi Yuugi series, Miaka and her seishi go there to heal and recover, and Chichiri mentions having trained there, under Taiitsukun's personal supervision, to hone his magic skills.
