Poisoning: Meian has the ability to poison his victims without the need to administer the poison. He simply extends his hand and a dark purple light, like a light ball, is shot at the opponent. It does not require much energy and he can concentrate on the type of poison he wishes to administer. It depends on the foe but his skills can range from immobilising the enemy to making the person unconscious for a time or even killing. He makes used of the energy he can absorb of nearby things like herbs, bugs or even poisonous creatures in order to administer said poison and as such he also learned a great deal about various kinds of poisons and in a way he immunised his body to some of them. This is a most useful skill for an assassin which is ironic. But the man does not use his powers or skills callously. He does know what is right or wrong but life circumstances were not easy for him. However, he is proud of the person he is and gladly uses his skills and powers when necessary. With the exception of when he is forced to use them, though, by those who command him.
Healing: Alongside his deadly ability to kill there is also a strong and contradictory ability to heal and preserve life. This is the one skill that can drain a lot of energy from Meian, up to the point that, should he used it carelessly, it could cost him his very life. This skill works in a similar way to how his poisoning does. He absorbs the elemental properties or energy of the nearby herbs whenever his own power alone cannot help mend a creature. Whenever he heals a light and soft golden light emerges from his hands and enters the body of the person he is trying to heal. Usually after using this skill he rather use his weapons to fight or at times has to flee the scene of the crime or leave a task for another day. He is aware of the dangers and dares not risk it, least he should perish and be unable to play his part in this world.
Taming of birds: His third ability allows him to communicate with birds and tame them easily to do his bidding. This is most useful since he tends to avoid big crowds and lives in the shadows, especially since he is an assassin and there is no turning back for him now. A wanted man needs concealment and his feathered friends allow him that luxury. But he never mistreats them, they often remind him of his beloved sister Yori and so he loves his feathered friends and shows them his gentler side which few persons get to experience.

Meian has a katana his brother Hayate gave him once, and which he learned to master under the guidance of his tutors at the Palace and later on with his father after the man kidnapped him and never allowed him to return to the palace in Hokkan. his father forced him from an early age into difficult life situations and never aided him once through the battles hardening his heart and mind and enhancing his skills for survival and battle. As an assassin he also mastered the use of the shuriken, some of them are poisoned with a sedative that can make a person lose motion or even pass out for a little while. Others have various poisons in case he is too tired to use his Seishi skills. He also has several throwing knives all about his persona but those are not poisoned and serve the purposes well. It could be said he is as lethal as his name indicates and his father ensured to transform him into an elite assassin often hired by important people for good sums of money. He also developed a sixth sense of his surroundings to ensure he was never caught off-guard and his father ensured he practices martial arts in various lands of the Four Kingdoms. And though Meian is proud of the skills he developed, he was never fond of the tasks his father forced upon him.

Nekura was always proud of his work and always demanded more and more from the young Seish, but he never complained, he silently obeyed. He has long dark red hair that reaches to his waist and beyond and his eyes are of a deep olive green which can look as cold and deadly as a blade about to strike or can burn as intently as a flame when angered. But, to those who know him, they can also be deep and loving, but this is only shown to his family and few friends. He wears the dark attire of his father's order of assassins. Having been disbanded when his father perished, Meian decided to keep on wearing those colours out of habit. He wears long black trousers and grey boots, a black shirt and a long black vest with red icons and inscriptions of his father's order and a black cloak to cover his face.
Personality:
Resentful: Melian had no other choice but to comply with everything his father told him to do, ever since he kidnapped him and forbade him to return to the Palace. So he devoted to training and trying to be away from his father as much as possible with the excuse of practicing or fulfilling a task. He did wish to return at first but his father threatened to harm his loved ones and though at first it shocked him that he would not hesitate to injure the woman he once loved...soon after it no longer surprised him for his father was utterly cold, cruel and too vengeful. So this horned a hatred toward the man he should have been able to look up to with respect. This made him rather bitter and resentful although he would not behave that way toward others, with the exception of the Fiend. He also despises them because they killed his father to get to him and through the very same threat forced him to serve them.
Secretive: Being trained by a man who seldom spoke a word, Melian realised that he had grown into a rather quiet person himself, even though he possessed the charm and charisma of his mother Sumiko. That alone helped him not give up completely his usual enjoyment which consisted on visiting his beloved ones and conversing with them. He would at times visit friends but he was never too fond of having that many friends, especially since his profession could tempt someone one day and betray him for the awarding money related to his capture.
Loyal: Despite appearances, Meian is a rather loyal person when it comes to friends and family. Despite all that he risks in helping them and protecting them, he still does so willingly and knowing that they are the most important thing in his life. Of course those who met him would not believe that side of him to exist but it does and he gladly offers it to those he deems worthy.
Stubborn: It runs in the family they say. Although Meian is not directly stubborn at of the times, but he will always say what he things and when something is obvious to him he won't be quiet until the other person sees his point. His stubbornness is also visible when in a battle, he will fight to survive, he will fight to win and if anything depends on him he will protect that with his life. He is aware of his current position and takes it seriously but he is determined that, whatever it takes, he would do his duty, even if he had to work undercover.

They were well known and feared wherever they went, it was when someone paid him a great amount of money to murder Sumiko, Empress of Genbu, that the man first came across her beauty. While waiting for her by the gardens, wiring for her to be at the perfect location for the assault, the moment he laid his eyes on her, his hand dropped the weapon and he felt unable to fulfil his task. They shared a strong bond and he dropped that job and left someone in command of the brotherhood for a while. But he was an ever wandering soul and he knew that Sumiko would not leave her duties for him, so with a heavy heart he had to bid farewell to the Empress aware that she was with child. Things at the order were difficult and knowing that Sumiko already had a Seishi among her offspring he hoped that their son, Meian, once he was born, he would also possess powerful skills that he could enhance and use for the brotherhood. The more time he spent away from Sumiko his heart hardened and his ambitions became too great. And he planed to take his son once he was old enough.
Meian did not get to meet his father, when he was born Nekura was already back at the brotherhood of assassins. He was brought up alongside his older brother Hayate, they were tutored together and would often spar among themselves. Hayate seemed rather interested in history and he always enjoyed just to walk alongside him and learn s much as she could from his older brother. He was happy at the Palace where he developed his skills cultivated his mind and spent time with this loved ones. It was when he was five years of age and sparring with one of the tutors that he accidentally slipped when trying to avoid stepping on an injured bird that he discovered his Seishi abilities, on the one hand he accidentally applied minor poison into the man causing him to collapse, but as soon as he did that he knelt beside him and prayed to Genbu to give him the ability to undo what he had done. And it was then when light emanated from his hands and healed the tutor. He passed out immediately after that.
Some days later he found he could also communicate with the birds and he told Hayate he was a Seishi alike his elder brother, and they discovered he was a Suzaku Seishi. They began to practice their skills together and their friendship blossomed. But Meian’s joy would not last long, for Nekura soon discovered that lucky for him, his son was another Seishi and his skills were quite useful for the order. And so he went to talk to Sumiko about it and stated he wished to take his son to train him, but she looked upset and hurt and did not allow him to. From that day on Meian was told to slew with his older brother and guards were posted on the balcony and at the entrance of the bedroom, but that did not stop Nekura who managed to snatch his son and Meian would have to wait several years before he could ever return to the Palace.
Nekura blackmailed Meian he would kill his mother if he ever thought or tried to return. And through that he controlled him and put him on very rough training, he would make him run with weights on, have him fight his way out of pitches with various kinds of nasty creatures, from snakes to predators with rustic weapons. He would also force him to remain awake through storms of various kinds and harden his body to most extreme types of weather. He learned to master all kinds of weapons and to ride even the wildest of horses. However, despite valuing the training his father forced upon him and realising he was begriming a deadly foe even among those within the order, he missed his family and growing up away from them tormented him. It was when he reached eighteen springs that his father was murdered by a servant of the Fiend.
Although Meian was unarmed he was taken prisoner. And there the Fiend forced him to serve them, under the same threat Nekura had used on him and it sickened him. They forced upon him a curse that could only be lifted by a Fiend or a God which consisted on him feeling deep pain on his chest where the heart lies if he ever helped their enemy. This was a great disadvantage for him, since he was a Seishi as well and would be forced to work against those he was meant to help, but it was then that he began visiting his family again, his sister Yori and his brother Hayate, to transmit information undercover. And up to this day, Meian still works undercover although he obeys the Fiend in the tasks they give him, because that would ensure they did not suspect him and he could still do his job as Seishi.
