Being a mercenary this skill is quite useful and she rarely needs to wield a weapon against most opponents. Unless she is wounded or low of energy and she needs to save it up then she will use her weapon skills. Her power is rather strong but as everyone she can be defeated if she loses concentration or her target is too far away for her to control her victim and with the loss of concentration the magic easily wears off. She needs then to concentrate once more and that might give the enemy the time and opportunity to attack. She also can control several persons at the same time, however, that also has a limitation. The more enemies she needs to control the less she can concentrate completely and manipulate and also she cannot control too many people at the same time, it drains her energy easily. So she is very careful with the way in which she uses such skill.
Martial arts: Being a mercenary she learned several types of martial arts and combined them to suit her needs. At times it came quite handy to use different types of fighting since it would confuse the opponents. And so with a mixture of kung fu, kendo and iaijutsu and whatever other small technique she could learn she would make use of it. She quickly earned the admiration of a few men and this talent of hers ensured she had up to 50 men at her disposal and so they work together as mercenaries while procuring to their families.
Nanami has a great talent with the bow and it is her main weapon of choice, after that she can wield a long spear with a blade on each side. She is fast and strong but is definitely better at ranged attacks and long distance confrontations, she is not that strong on close combat, hence her preference for a long spear. However if she can help it she prefers to use her demon abilities rather than her physical ones. Of course the option is still available if she ever needed to fight with her weapons.

Long two-bladed spear: Nanami has a lovely two-bladed spear which she carries with her at all times alongside her bow and quiver and she has used it ever since she was left to fend for herself. It was her father’s, the one and only thing she could recover from the fire once her village was destroyed and burned to the ground. It saved her life countless times before she discovered her demon skills. She is very fond of this weapon and keeps it as a memento of a past she would rather leave… dead and buried. However, even now she still misses her family.

Nanami is a person who knows what she wants and does not stop until she gets it but she never despairs she can be quite patient if she needs to be. She always keeps a clear head when she needs to come up with a plan of sorts. She does not mind whatever foe she needs to encounter she doesn’t fear anyone and all she ever feared came to be, after losing her family she became completely fearless of anything else and though she took in the mercenaries that wished to work under her command she did not make strong ties with them and ensured they kept their families anonymous in case anyone threatened to get back at them or something but that is as far as she goes for them. And she strongly believes she will never experience fear again since she does not plan to get close to a single living being.
She is very stubborn and vane at times since she is well aware of her charms. However, she never lets that become a weakness and she is not so easily persuaded by the sweet words of men. She is rather tough when it comes to compliments any other woman would fall for and that is mainly because she became a mercenary purely due to her skills and wish to survive. And that means she got to where she now is by pure merit and would not let mere words or insinuations ruin the life she procured herself. Also living in the world of mercenaries and bounty hunters she learned not to believe the words spoken by others and not to trust them either, especially men. That does not mean she would not use her beauty or skills to seduce if she needed to and she could easily take things as far as she wanted or needed.

Nanami has a strong yet slender figure, she has lovely tanned skin and her long dark hair is well kept being one of her many charms. She also has deep olive eyes that at times can look emerald or blue and they hide any emotion making others feel as if there were an empty void inside her. She keeps her emotions in check and she never gives in to the bribes or threats of others. She is very flexible and can easily hold her ground in a battle. The beauty and peaceful countenance must not be mistaken for she is as passionate as a typhoon when her emotions are revealed. She is also very selective and would not allow anyone to lay a finger on her unless she completely approved of it. She has a seductive personality but she seldom smiles whole-heartedly and the persona she shows others is far from the person she truly is inside. Even though she has achieved all this on her own that does not mean she does not feel the loneliness and the loss still.

Nanami’s demon form is more powerful than her human form. Her natural abilities are enhanced but there is also the possibility of that nature taking over her so she worked hard to control it and only uses it in dire situations when it cannot be helped. Especially since most persons fear demons so she tries not to turn in front of mortals, at least unless there is a life-threatening situation that cannot be avoided. If anyone knew she was a demon her career as a mercenary would be destroyed. In her demon form she has lovely white hair which is much longer than it usually is, even though it is rather long in itself, and she has bright red eyes. Her skin goes pale and she has two medium-sized horns coming out of her head.
History:
Nanami was born in Konan in a small village where her clan resided and the demons were safe from peering eyes and the gossip of others. The climate was truly warm but they soon got used to the heat and they settled happily. However, their peace did not last long and when Nanami was ten years of age, her village was utterly destroyed by humans and the people in it killed. Afterward the village burned to the ground. Nanami was taken to the mountains by her mother in an attempt to save her life but she was soon found and killed and Nanami had to watch this happen while still hide atop a tree as her mother instructed her to. That night she sis not leave the tree in fear and she cried bitterly all night hold, hungry and afraid of the howling of the wolves and the return of the humans. When she did return she found the village completely destroyed and she only found the spear of her father. She cried most of the morning and held the spear against her arms.
Once she buried whoever she could, she took the little money that remains in the village and the spear and she set off to find a new life. It was then that she learned to use the spear and she used the taconites she had watched her father use. At first it had been too heavy for her to wield but she was a demon so much stronger than mortals and also she wished to survive and one day avenge her family and village. It was then that when fighting some bandits who almost succeeded in kidnapping her, a travelling mercenary came across them and surprised with the skill she showed at being so young he saved her and in return she served him for many years. It was then she learned the trade of the life of a mercenary and the many skills she possessed.
However, she would never show her demon skills to mortals, and finding them weaker of mind than demons she could easily use her powers without uttering a word, however, she mainly fought them like other mercenaries. This earned her the respect of many an important man who began to hire her services regularly and it also made her popular among the mercenaries allowing her to have up to 50 mercenaries to command. She is well respected and followed without a second thought and she rewards her men handsomely.
