position.or.occupation: Takeo is a tactician and the head of the military of his clan. If it were a kingdom he would probably be considered its general, but as it stands he make sure of his skills to keep the clan safe and come up with the best measures to ensure their survival. He is a strong warrior and as such also trains new recruits in the art of case combat, weapon-wielding and martial arts. He also teaches them how to fight in their wolf form and make the most of their skills.

appearance: In his human form Takao is quite a tall man standing at 6’3’’and has slightly tanned skin. As the alpha that he is his body is in top form, and since his job is to ensure that all the clan warriors are in shape and prepared for anything he is rather fit and is rather strong. He has long silver and light blue hair which falls below his shoulders, however he usually has it tied up in a ponytail or bun. He also has piercing silver eyes that seemed to glow in the dark for some reason, particularly when the moon shines upon him. He usually wears comfortable traveling clothes hidden under his leather armour that is of a dark blue colour with the symbol of the clan where his heart lies. He also wears a dark blue cloak and leather armour on his arms and legs, he also wears leather fingerless gloves. Whenever he is not travelling or on patrol or fighting he wears a light blue kimono with trousers of a lightly darker tone of blue. Yet he is seldom relaxing or at leisure as he believes that evil does not sleep and anything can befall his people.

In his wolf form his fur is of a lovely soft snow white colour with hints of silver and he has piercing silver eyes that have a light of their own especially in the dark and when the moon shines upon them.

powers: Takao has the below powers due to his okami nature and family lineage and they are listed in order of priority and effort:

Super Strength - Takeo is a very strong man but his okami nature grants him a strength greater than that of humans and it can contest demons or spirits. He can even dig out of the ground if needed although he has seldom had to do anything of the sort. When using this strength there are few who can contest him.

Super Agility - He generally fights with the elegance and finesse of a martial artist but his okami nature grants him an even greater agility. He is faster and more agile than humans and his speed can contest other spirits although he might struggle to compete with strong demons. This skill allowed him to climb trees and ceiling rafters quite skilfully and avoid detection despite his height and strong build.

Invulnerability - When in battle Take can become invulnerable to most attacks for a set amount of time, once that time elapses he had to be careful when fighting as he cannot control this ability and it has a cool down period, sort of speak, where it cannot be activated no matter the situation he may be in.

Regeneration - Takeo can recover from most wounds (with the execution of the case mentioned in the weakness section) hours after the incident. It is no immediate ability but he regenerates faster than humans do. It could be said that his self-healing is almost as fast as that of demons but not quite.

Fangs - Wolf Form - As a member of the clan he can also fight in his wolf form. In such occasion his fangs are usually razor sharp and in this form his foes would meet a terrible end.

abilities: Takeo is quite proficient with the shakuhachi flute, he began learning the craft when he was a young boy. It is one of the few things that bring him comfort and respite whenever he needs to clear his head or make an important decision. He is also an avid hunter due to his okami nature, particularly due to him being an alpha, and in an attempt to keep his clan safe he ensured to perfect these skills. He is also good with words, his charisma has helped keep the morale of the clan strong, specially during times of trouble.
weapons: Takeo mainly fights with his okami powers, however, he has mastered the use of a few weapons, such as the katana, throwing battle axes and spear-wielding. Out of all of them spear-wielding is his main weapon of choice but he always carries the aforementioned in his persona should the need arise.
strengths: Takeo is a powerful okami, particularly due to his family lineage that enabled him to inherit important powers and innate leadership as he was brought up to become an alpha at some point. He was well taught on how to use his super strength and agility, among his other abilities and has become quite proficient. She is also a talented musician, however, few have her watched him play his flute. Nevertheless, everyone knows that, especially during terrible and scary nights, a gentle flute will play for the clan and ensure everyone sees well at night.
weaknesses: Albeit a powerful okami, there are limitations to his power some of these are self-imposed. For example, regarding super strength, Takeo knows that he is a rather strong person but with this skill he could gravely hurt someone and it could result in death. So he only unleashes it if someone in the clan is in dire danger or the enemy wishes to bring destruction tot he clan. Due to his constant training he has learned to control it depending on the enemy he is facing. The same could be said about his invulnerability. Since it is a random ability that he cannot activate, if he is in the middle of a fight and it gets activated it means he will have to be careful during the cool down period and his life could be in brae danger. Furthermore, if he has sustained grave injuries, his regeneration skills would struggle to heal him in the event that he remains in battle and does not abandon the fight in order to grant himself room to heal. Also, should an enemy fight him, due to him being an okami, with a Bamboo Dagger Blessed by a Shinto Priest, he would be in serious trouble for that is an okami’s kryptonite.


personality:

Takeo can be perceived as a rather strict and somewhat stubborn person due to his past experiences. He cares greatly about his people like a good leader would and as such their well-being and happiness is his top priority and sometimes that means being unable to offer aid to others. Besides, since they do not have the military man power and advances of the kingdoms should they be discovered they would most probably suffer a terrible fate, one worse than death. Due to this realisation the lies of his people are precious to him and he spends way more time working than resting or enjoying himself as others do. He does not mind if his people relax while he works, as long as he does not fail them and keep them safe. Furthermore, due to this dedication, Takao is unable to think as anything more than a leader and that means building relationships or connecting with others is not a priority and he de snot dedicate as much time a she probably should. This is also to distance himself from others for he lost people dear to him in the past.

He is also strong-willed and does not give up easily. This tenacity got him far and is one of the reasons why the clan trusts him and greatly admires him. He is humble about this, however, because the only reason he is so dedicated to the clan is for an honest desire to protect them from suffering at the hands of humans or whoever that might pose a threat to them. This determination makes him a most fearsome foe and role model to his clan, particularly the younger wolves. This has also earned him the admiration of the ladies, despite him not asking for it and doing nothing to feed this situation.

He has a compassionate and benevolent heart, but these days only shows it to his people for he lost much at the hands of those who did not belong to his clan. Even if sometimes he masks his actions under the guise of a rather strict behaviour he cares for his people and would gladly sacrifice for them if it would ensure their safety. This sense of righteousness ensures he is awake and ready should he need to make a quick decision or physically protect his people.

history:

Takeo was born to a small clan in a forest in Sailo where he grew up and was taught most of what he knew. His father wished for him to become the alpha when the time came and so they ensured he learned everything that was useful and traveled enough with his father to learn of the outside world, hunting and what to expect should he take the mantle of leader. He had a relatively happy childhood and his parents ensured to give him as much affection as possible given the circumstances of him being the future leader. However, this was enough to plant in him the desire to protect his people and he worked arduously to become the leader his people needed. For a time he traveled the kingdoms in search for martial arts masters who could teach him to learn their arts well and become a proficient fighter. During these travels he became proficient in the use of various weapons and also became and avid reader, particularly books about military manoeuvres, battle tactics and history. This helped shape him into an efficient tactician and powerful general.

It was also during such travels that he met Akane, she was a Byakko priestess soon to be offered to the palace as an advisor or companion to the royal family. She was a human but something drew him to get to know her better and interact with her when he was eighteen. During their time spent together they fell in love and he was planning to marry her and introduce her to the clan. Little did he know that some daimyos were aware of the wolf spirits and were doing their best to track them down, at that time a daimyo had successfully captured and enslaved many kitsune, therefore, these men felt threatened by such power and wished to do the same to impress their Emperor.

The day Takeo and Akane were meant to wed and become part of the wolf clan and lead the Palace and her life behind, she was followed by soldiers form those daimyos who had been spying on her and knew she could lead them to the okami. Unaware of this Akane led the men to the heart of the clan and a battle ensued. Takeo, feeling betrayed, ignored Akane’s please to prove her innocence but he was so enraged he focused on protecting his clan. At that moment he had planed to drive the men away and help his clan leave that part of the forest and find a new home.

Unfortunately, his beloved little sister Kyo was one of the okami to perish during the fight. Akane also died trying to save Takeo and such was the shock that he decided never to mix with humans or cooperate with them and to solely dedicate this life to his family and no one else. A couple of years later Takao’s clan came across Rishiara’s and both clans agreed to become one sole clan under the banner of Rishiara’s mum.
