appearance: Hisoka stands at 5’9” and has deep ocean blue eyes that at times can shine bright and her long dark hair at times shows shades of deep blue and aquamarine. This strange and subtle constant change in the colour of her hair was inherited from her mother’s side. She has a long and elegant fringe that just caresses her eyelashes in length and her hair reaches to her mid-thigh when tied in a ponytail and is slightly longer whenever it is loose and free. Her skin is tanned and despite the hardships or her training it is soft. Her body is fit and slightly muscled since she is a very active person and also trains hard with her weapons, martial arts and instructs others. The small jobs as sword hand and bodyguard also ensure she stays fit. The martial arts enable flexibility and precision. She usually ties her hair in a high ponytail with a white ribbon and wears a short shirt or a top and ripped trousers, with light brown boots. Sometimes she also wears mini-skirts since that is the clothing she grew up accustomed to in her island. She wears chest armour and a right shoulder protector that matches her clothing, so her stomach and lower back are free of protection since she feels she can move more comfortably that way.

Hisoka has a small tattoo of a black water dragon on her back on the spine in between her shoulder-blades for precise location and this was granted as a symbol of her acceptance in the tribe and her coming of age. This was another thing her mother forced upon her and she had absolutely no say on the matter.

powers:

When in battle Hisoka can enter a berserker more where she becomes ten times stronger than she already is. She is much stronger than most people although not as strong as Ryou. This mode helps her fight a big number of foes and makes her a force to be reckoned with. Those who know her fear her whenever she enters that mode for they have seen what she can do. For the most part she can control her berserker mode after years of practice and can target solely enemies and turn back to her usual self. However, if she were ever distracted or in the wrong mindframe it would make it difficult for her to control her ferocious rage. As the Princess of Nyosei Island and having a lineage of diételas Warriors her strength is well known and unparalleled. The only person she has ever sparred with that could challenge her was Ryou and she enjoys the challenge of someone who can more than hold their ground against her.

Hisoka is incredibly durable and resilient and that helps her confront powerful warriors or creatures that most would fear to fight. But Hisoka is remarkable even by the standards of her own people. Her skin is impervious to all human weaponry and also extreme heat and cold. She is also immune to most diseases and illnesses. And she has superhuman healing Thad allows her to recover from wounds faster than most humans. Some say these were gifts of Seiryuu knowing she was a Princess and that meant her people would have to sacrifice their heir to protect the Miko. Of course she was never told this.

Hisoka can also fly through the use of her great battle axe which was passed down to her. She usually throws her battle axe while still holding on and hangs onto the battle axe as she flies. She can twirl her battle axe before she throws it in order to fly faster. She can be incredibly fast when flying depending on the way she throws her battle axe.

Hisoka can also use her battle axe in order to teleport although the distance cannot be further away than ten meters and she can just as easily teleport back, the teleportation is quite fast so she uses this skill in order to fool her opponents into aiming for her and she seems to disappear when really she is teleporting behind them or away from their blades.

Hisoka also controls thunder and lightning and can control localised storms in order to smite her opponents or confuse them amidst the weather manipulation. Her thunder and lightning attacks can be small enough to shock her opponents or they can turn into big blasts especially if she is fighting a big number of foes. She is careful with these blasts as they can be quite devastating and she needs to use her life force in order to shoot them.

Hisoka is not the average woman. She has unnatural strength and speed which grant her qualities greatly appreciated in battle and combat. She has a strategic mind as she has had to face her foes on her own and is very efficient at an individual fighter and can fight groups of enemies on her own. She mastered her Seishi abilities from a young age and enjoys reading books. She also has a small hobby she does not reveal as it makes her shy as she enjoys embroidery but deems most people would not think her feminine enough to believe her. She also learned all about etiquette and propriety being the Crown Princess of her nation.

weapons:

Battle axe: This is her main weapon of choice as it was passed down to her from her family for generations. She was given this weapon when she left the island not only to keep herself safe and remember her family and those she represented but as a reminder that she was still the Crown Princess. She mastered its usage with ease. It has a long handle, it is half as long as a spear but it is big in size and not many would be able to wield her battle axe with as much dexterity as she does.

Katana: As a well respected Princess of Nyosei Island, Hisoka’s mother ensured she was well educated in the art of sword-fighting and through a tribal ceremony of doing of age, she earned her very first katana. Hisoka now carries a beautiful katana wherever she goes. The katana has a red hilt with two scarlet ribbons that ensure everyone she is royalty. And the blade has inscriptions which tells the story of her family assuming the power and looking after the island ever since. She is very proud of that blade and uses it with honour. Despite the reputation of the Island, Hisoka does not settle all problems with the blade of a sword and knows when to respect a life and when not to. She is not a pacifist though, but she has scruples and respects life as much as possible. This katana is priceless for her and it also symbolises her way of life. She is well versed in the martial arts of her Island and believes violence must only be used if life itself was being threatened. She carries her katana on a sheath on her belt since she feels more comfortable carrying it there and is easier to draw.

Shuriken and martial arts: Alongside her formidable abilities with the katana she also makes use of shrunken (throwing stars) shaped as flowers which she carries on a smaller belt tied to her belt, they are on the back of the small belt and she can quickly reach out and throw them without a blink and she never misses her target. These have a substance that can paralyse the area affected in the body for a certain period of time. She is also a great master of the martial arts in her homelands but she learned some from other places as she studied them to ensure she was not ignorant of the lands nearby and those further away in case her time ever came to rule the lands. Her mother is resilient to leave the throne though and since Hisoka does not truly feel like ruling a kingdom she does not care.

strengths: Hisoka is a rather strong-willed person who seldom gives up in a fight and the life she was given and that makes her strong although that doesn’t mean she does not at times question her own determination due to her past experiences but she tends to stick to the plan once her mind is made up. Her fighting progress and Seishi skills make her a formidable foe and she is good at Analí song a battleground as well as individual fights and their outcomes with a cold and calculated mind.
weaknesses: Due to how powerful she is, unless she focuses there is a chance she could cause much harm when using her Seishi abilities. Of course great powers drain the wielder of energy, also some of her abilities require her life force and as Hisoka is still mortal she has to make sure not to exploit her powers in such a way that could result in her death. She also struggles with trusting others due to her past experiences and as such she could become a target of her pride or could be easily targeted as she does not rely on others and is a lone wolf for the most part. Furthermore, she struggles to connect with other persons in a more intimate level past that of acquaintances.

Tough and loyal: Living in an island where you had to constantly show strength since no man was allowed to live among the women unless used for breeding purposes, Hisoka soon learned to be a tough cookie and she saw much cruelty in her kingdom and though she once loved her mother very much the intensive training she forced her to endue and the hard shaping of her childhood and early years of her youth ensured she repulsed her and often sought to help in her kingdom as a sword hand or a bodyguard or even took a job to train the army just so she could stay away from her mother. It is this hard upbringing that disabled her from showing emotions a young and sweet girl should at twenty-two. And not only that, she directly blames her mother for the one incident she always regretted since her upbringing was too wild to handle. Despite all this, Hisoka’s loyalty is endless and one granted she will stand her ground and protect that trust no matter what. She will protect those she chooses to and like a proper bodyguard, will fight for them even placing her own safety at the edge of a knife.

Proud and stubborn: As a good Princess of such a wild and strong nation, she is also a rather proud and stubborn person. She is happy of her lineage and holds great pride and fondness for it. This pride and stubbornness can raise her temper and when angered she does not care what anyone can say or threaten her with, she will speak her mind or fight like a person’s worst nightmare. She is the kind of person who does not get easily challenged or threatened and hides away. She is rather brave and seldom fears anything. The only way to truly get to her would be using one of her loved ones against her or to get to her. Being always one to lead people she seldom lets go of that role and often feels the one in charge even outside her own kingdom. While she respects Shun’s authority in Kutou, in the company of others she feels rather mature and wise and does not care for titles and positions, even outside her island.

Sarcastic and reserved: Due to her upbringing, Hisoka, although a cheerful and talkative child, grew up a rather reserved person and at times whenever she would talk she would be extremely sarcastic. This happened as a result of her mother’s enforcement and the one incident in her life that changed her completely. Now she only speaks what she deems is necessary and she will seldom laugh or smile and her sarcasm is a mechanism of defence against those who make her uncomfortable or make her feel threatened, mainly men who compliment her or are after her favours…

history:

Hisoka was born a Princess of Nyosei Island. Due to usual politics of the island and way of life she was never told anything of her father and though at times she did miss the paternal figure her mother ensured to keep her too busy to ever consider asking about him. Even if she did, Seira never replied. Her first five years of life were her happiest moments and from that moment on her training increased and she was no longer allowed to be a child. Being a princess of that land was quite an arduous task, She had to be truly fit, an expert in fighting and also wise and stubborn. Her mother was a cold person herself and rather barbaric and so she ensured Hisoka toughened from that moment on with hard training, few friends and no physical contact at all with other persons, even her own mother. At first she suffered greatly and cried herself to sleep, but the years hardened her heart and she reached a point where she never showed any emotion, aside from those needed in battle. It was around that time when, upon being exposed to a training that risked her life in more ways than one when her powers as Seishi awakened. And despite all the abilities Seriyuu pleased her with in order to ensure her safety and the possibility of her to become Queen when necessary, her mother and everyone in the Castle kept that hidden from her and did not teach her much on the lore in fear of losing their only heir. But her life would only complicate even more from that moment on. It was around this time that she met a couple of humble families and she grew close to them and they became her real family.

When she became fifteen, she was granted the dragon tattoo on her back as a sign of the tribe’s approval and the acceptance of her people. She came of age and received her katana at that same age and her mother decided to further her intake of the particular customs of that land by exposing her to the opposite sex. However, this only made Hisoka repudiate her mother and it had such a negative effect that she became reserved, more silent than usual and sarcastic toward men. In fact, she only ever conversed with them. At fifteen, Seira sent Hisoka against her will to a brothel on one of the nearby kingdoms so she learned the ways to lure men and make them weak on their knees, having a beautiful princess that would ensure handsome, strong and healthy men would come to the island to be used for breeding purposes. Of course the idea did not appeal to her at all and though she did learn the trade, she never accepted to work as one of the ladies in the brothel and instead remained away from men.

This angered her mother, since that meant the princess would not accept the task of luring men into the island. So she decided to go to Kutou. She had a friend there whose son had a big house and could have her there as his guest, of course, the idea was for him to seduce her and then easily get her to comply with that accord. Despite Hisoko’s suspicious nature eventually, a year later, she fell for Taimo and his charms and though she experienced happiness for a little while, the pain that followed was tenfold worse. After he finally seduced her and had his way with her, he suddenly became distant and it was upon finding him in the company of another lady sharing an intimate kiss that the truth opened before her eyes. The experience itself was not enjoyable for he had been rough, inconsiderate and cruel to a girl completely lacking of experience on such matter, the experience being truly code to experiencing rape. And to humiliate her even further, in front of his lady friend he said he could not possibly spend the rest of his life with an easy woman. Hisoko punched him in the face and took shelter in Emperor Shun’s court. Once safe, she confided in him and they became good friends. He gave her support she had lacked all along and so ever since she respected him and grew fond of him, his sisters and mother and he is the only man up to now she respects and calls her friend.

A couple of years later she returned to the Island only to scold her mother for destroying her life, to oppose her wishes to use her as the means to continue with the tradition of this island and to visit the few friends shehad. They helped her finally get over her misfortunes and return to her usual cold self. Although she did smile a bit when she was around her friend, the burdens she now carried hardened her from the cheerful person she once was. She lived on the island until she turned twenty, when she finally decided to leave the island and travel. At the age of twenty-two she decided to settle back in the palace of Kutou and face the demons of her past once and for all and in a way return to the hearth of a family she felt at home with.
