appearance: Leiko stands at 5”8’ and has a curvy feminine figure albeit athletic due to her lifestyle as a member of Rindou’s band of thieves. She has long red hair that falls past her thighs when untied and she has deep scarlet eyes. She has lightly tanned and soft skin due to the years she lived as slave and as a thief. She usually wears black clothes and a hood but when she goes on missions she ensures to wear her black leather armour, golden shoulder and wrist pads and the black and golden veil that reminds her of her homeland. She mainly wears black boots that reach just above her knees.

powers: Leiko’s main Seishi ability is to take the form of a great red fire dragon. Whenever she does, she acquires all the traits and abilities of a fire dragon and has learned to master their usage. She also gains some self-preservation traits in this form, such as:

Atmospheric adaptation: Leiko’s lungs acclimatize and breathe in/on any gaseous medium, whether hostile or deficient. Her lungs also filter away non-gaseous substances such as dust, asbestos, etc. She can breathe toxic gases instead of oxygen and survive mountain, aerial, or terrene air deficiency, which are among the longest and most painful deaths the average human can suffer.

Enhanced durability: When in dragon form, Leiko has extremely high physical durability to withstand damage, due to the strong scales that cover her body. It enables her to take numerous blows of internal or external assaults before succumbing to the effects. Also normal weapons find it hard to pierce her carcass, special weapons are needed to defeat her just as they would any dragon.

Enhanced strength: Leiko acquires the overwhelming strength of a dragon, as such she can lift heavy things and hurl them, she can also use her wing span to push her enemies away from her and she can pick living beings and carry them to safety if needed.

Natural weapons: Leiko has the natural weapons of a dragon in her arsenal, such as claws, talons, spikes in the tail and horns on the head.

Fire breath: She can generate and manipulate fire within in a way that allows her to shape the exhaling of the effect. These shapes can include bursts, streams, beams and spits from the mouth.

Fire manipulation: Leiko can create, shape, control, generate and manipulate every form/type of fire and project it. When using this ability, Leiko can cover her whole body in flames to protect herself and also to confuse the enemy and ensure they can’t find her weaknesses. She sometimes used this skill to scare the enemy away.
abilities: Leiko enjoys music and merry company, as such she acquired a sheng (harmonica) in one of her trips and learned to master playing it. Music helps soothe her and forget about the more traumatic events of her past so if she ever encounters music she will definitely stick around long enough to enjoy it. She is also very good with wood carvings and can make small pieces or art, frames, tools, anything really as long as it’s not too big as it would not be practical for her. She also carries lock-picking items because she mastered the art through years of practice. She is also very good at designing jewellery, although she does not make it herself she still gets a commission for the sales of her designs. She is also an expert con artist and uses such talent in her missions. She has a weakness for poetry and philosophy and whenever she can she acquires the lateras poetry or philosophy books. She enjoys the romanticism of poetry and also the power of a thinking mind. Finally, she has the ability to transform into a beautiful small fire dragon that does not fire her the way her bigger dragon transformation does and she uses this small dragon shape to charm people, to escape difficult situations or to sneak into places where she would be unable to in her human form. In this form her eyes sparkle like gems and look the colour of gold and she has tiny precious gems on her belly, she looks truly adorable in this form.
weapons: Leiko has a scarlet spear with a blade of a darker shade of scarlet. When in the middle of a fight she sets the blade ablaze with her fire abilities. She has learned to master wielding her spear as well as the other weapons she carries, such as throwing knives that hang on small thigh belts on each leg, she also carries flasks in order to create a fog should she need to escape, make the target drowsy or some light poisons to make the targets hallucinate or pass out. She also has two wakizashis that she carries on her waist belt on each side and she usually carries her spear on its sheathe hanging on her back. However, she has learned to master most weapons in case she ever finds herself without her weapons and needs to improvise.
strengths: Leiko is a very skilled thief, lock-picker and can be good at subterfuge and stealth. Aware of the power she possesses she learned only to use them when needed as others could try and use her. She is an intelligent woman and has learned to read a situation and come up with the best solution due to her past. She has quite a well developed aleredness, which is why she sometimes gets teased that she is rather like the dragon she becomes when using her Seishi abilities. She is quick to come up with the best course of action even if that means sacrificing her feelings or desires and she can often mask them from most people. Every skill she develops represents an added opportunity to overcome her foes and with that in mind she always practices to the point of mastery and beyond trying to always learn new things and strongly believing that no one was born knowing everything there is to know regarding a topic.
weaknesses: Leiko has thalassophobia because she never learned to swim and her master used to punish her whenever he felt like it by taking her to a lake and tossing her right in the middle for up to thirty minutes or until she would pass out and nearly drown. Throughout the years she has tried to overcome the fear and learn to swim but she has been unable to do so to this day. Due to the fact that most of her powers rely on her transforming into a dragon, she needs clothes made with a magical thread that makes it withstand heat and flames, as well as her transformations. Otherwise normal clothes get torn and she would be completely exposed if she transformed back into a human. This means that she needs to commission special clothes otherwise she could find herself in an embarrassing situation. Furthermore, once she transforms back to her human form she needs food and rest as using her dragon form always has a toll on her body, that means she is vulnerable to attacks of any kind until she has the amount of food and rest she needs.
personality:Leiko is as cunning as a dragon. Among the powers granted to her by her dragon form she was also given great cunning and wisdom. She makes use of both skills in order to fulfil any task appointed to her by Rindou or whenever she comes up with a good plan for the band since Rindou insists that as her second in command she should also suggest jobs. These skills also help her greatly whenever she is in con mode and few could equal her in such fine art.

Even though she might appear somewhat cold or indifferent, Leiko has a noble and pure heart and will not hesitate to help those in need, in fact if she managed to steal some food when she was a slave and he came across someone less fortunate than herself she would not think it twice, she would give the food away even if that meant she would suffer as a consequence. That also means that, albeit with a strong sense of self-preservation and never too keen to put herself in harm’s way, she would do so without a second thought in order to protect the unfortunate or those she cares for.

When it comes to opening up to others, she struggles greatly due to the experiences in her past. Although, things improved for her when she met Rindou and joined her band of thieves, she still struggles a little bit to trust others but given the right encouragement and patience she can come to be a most faithful friend, partner and she always does everything she can to make those she allows into her life to be comfortable and happy. She went through a lot in her early years and so she will always lean toward those she senses that experienced a certain kind of childhood trauma of any kind. She believes that, as someone who did not have an easy upbringing, she can help others find happiness and accept the ghosts of the past as something that should remain in the past. And as such it is also her means to constantly try and fight these things that she fears the most, and hopefully one day get rid of the nightmares that assail her at night.

history:Leiko was born in Sailo. Her father was a fisherman and her mother a sea diver who would collect pearls or seashells to craft jewellery and also save animals that might be struggling with nets or rubbish on the sea shores. Her father was called Tsubasa and her mother Rin, however, due to how young she was when she lost them she barely remembers anything about them these days. She was happy for as long as she lived with her family, but when she was five years old a pirate ship that was going after an escaped prisoner destroyed the village and killed everyone on sight in order to find him. Ron barely managed to hide Leiko in a cave near the shores telling her not to go anywhere. She waited for a long time amidst the screams of borrow and the sounds and smell of burning wood until silence ensued.

Unfortunately, a group of slave traders that shadowed pirate raids found her, as they were expecting to find children among the survivors in order to sell them as slaves. She kicked and screamed but she knew her family would never come for her as they were all dead. With tears in her eyes Leiko was taken by the slave traders to another town where a man in his late twenties bought her due to how beautiful she was. He immediately forced her to do hard labour, chores around the house and if he was ever in a foul mood or she made any small mistakes he would take her to a nearby lake where he would drop her in the middle of the lake and leave her there for around thirty minutes or until she began to drown. This caused her to develop fear of water as she also did not know how to swim.

She would often receive physical punishment for anything he or his wife were. Or happy about that and that forced Leiko to learn about medicinal herbs and look after her bruises and injuries. She also taught herself to read and write in secret as she hoped to escape someday and did not want to allow them any more advantages over her persona.

When she turned fourteen she noticed the demeanour of her master had changed and he constantly tried to attack her and have his way with her. However, the one time he managed to catch her off-guard her Seishi powers manifested and she turned into a great fire dragon destroying the house and burning everything around her. The master and his wife ran away swearing never to take any more slaves as this experience had filed reír black hearts with fear.

When she came to, she realised she was inside a pirate ship and she was wearing different clothes from her usual ones. The Captain of that ship was called Naraku. He was four years older than Leiko and had seen her transform into a dragon and decided to pretend to be a kind man in order to earn her trust. Despite the pretended care she received, her fear of water made that year at sea a turbulent one for Leiko and she began to plot leaving. Once she reached the age of fifteen, however, he discovered that she was a Seishi and wanted her to use her dragon abilities to fight for his crew. And though he nearly managed to persuade her, one night she realised they held no scruples whenever they raided, etc., and in an attempt to escape she transformed into a dragon tearing the ship apart. Naraku watched in rage as his ship and crew sank and once she changed back to a human having left the ship and taking refuge in a cave, he tracked her all the way there as he knew she would be weak after the transformation.

He assaulted her and she was unable to stop him from having his way with her thinking that once he did she would turn into his tool to wreak havoc wherever he went. She felt hurt and disappointed but she also developed a great dislike for him and eventually discovered he was the son of the pirate Captain that ordered the decimation of her village. In his efforts to force her to comply, he made use of a magical tattoo, he knew he had to apply it to himself and also on Leiko, so that she would be bound to him and his will until the spell could be broken. She watched him as he applied the tattoo on himself but when he tried to apply it on her she transformed into a small dragon version of her bigger form and escaped him.

It was around that time when she came across Rindou and her band of thieves. Both Rindou and Leiko recognised each other as Seishi although it was around that time when she had to learn everything about being a Seishi and learn to master her abilities. It did not take long for her to excel in all her skill, talents and strengths and be considered crucial for the thieves. She became a full-fledged thief after one year of living among them and Shen Rindou became the leader she swore to protect her, it was around that same time that Rindou named her Second in Command. This is the first time she has felt she belonged to a family ever since the loss of her parents. And this unfortunate event helped Rindou and Leiko become the best of friends and so she confided in her the situation with her fear of water and the fact that Captain Naraku was looking for her in order to find her to his will.
